My name is Michael Cash. I grew up on a working farm in the Midwest, which meant learning early that mechanical things break, that you figure out why, and that you fix them properly or you fix them twice. That lesson has stayed with me.
I spent years as a mechanical engineer before moving into business strategy and operations. Along the way I became convinced of something that shapes how Northview operates: the most durable businesses are built on customers who trust you enough to come back and refer you — not on squeezing every dollar out of every transaction. Those two approaches might look similar on a given Tuesday, but they produce very different companies over time.
The trades gave me a place to put both of those convictions to work. The PE-backed consolidators that now dominate residential door service have largely optimized for volume and margin at the expense of the customer relationship. That's created a real opening for a company that just treats people well — shows up prepared, prices honestly, and does clean work.
What that looks like at Northview: published pricing so you're not calling around trying to get a number out of someone. A genuine recommendation process for new installations, not a salesperson working through a catalog. A diagnostic credit so you're not paying twice. And a commitment to telling you what your door actually needs — not what maximizes the invoice.
