Credited toward your repair
When a repair is approved and completed during the same visit, the $45 fee is credited toward the cost. You pay the repair price; not the repair price plus the diagnostic.

For standard residential repairs the prices below are what you pay, not starting points or ranges. If more than one standard repair is needed, a reduction is applied to the standalone price. Custom-quoted work is rare and always disclosed before we proceed.

The prices below apply to standard one- and two-car residential garage doors. Once we diagnose the issue on-site, we confirm the repair and price before touching anything. The $45 diagnostic fee is credited when repair is approved.

| End Bearing Plate Replacement Replacement of both end bearing plates, the wall-mounted brackets that support the torsion shaft at each end. Requires full spring tension release, drum and cable removal, shaft removal, plate removal and reinstallation with lag screws into wall framing, and complete reassembly with balance verification. Price assumes standard lag screw reinstallation. If existing hardware is stripped or framing requires remediation, additional charges may apply.
